What is your refund policy?

At Picchu + Bold we want you to love your items. But, if you're not satisfied, for any reason, just follow the instructions on our refund policy page and we’ll issue you a refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase.

 How much is US shipping?

We offer Free Shipping within the US on orders $35+ using USPS First Class Mail or Priority Mail* depending on order weight (for larger packages, i.e. Frazada Rugs, we may use UPS). For orders under $35 we offer $5 flat rate shipping and animal finger puppets are $3 flat rate.

I’m in Portland, can I just come to the shop to pick up my items?

Before COVID would say "Absolutely! Anytime!" but these days we offer local pickup and will email you to coordinate pick-up. If you'd like local pickup please select it at checkout and email us at hello@picchubold.com to let us know to have your items ready for you. We also offer free local delivery for orders $20+.

What is the retail store all about?

It's our brick + mortar Fair Trade Marketplace located in the Pearl District in Portland, Oregon at the Waterfront Pearl building. It’s a place where you can visually experience our products – lay your eyes on the softness of alpaca, the sturdy thickness of Frazadas, and the vibrance of our textiles all in one place.

While you’re here you can also pick up a few goodies we don’t yet carry online like chocolates and greeting cards. Just like our online store, everything is ethically sourced + fair trade, not just a product or two, but everything!

Do you provide a tracking number?

On most items - this depends if USPS offers it for shipping your item. As soon as your order is processed for shipping, you'll get an email confirmation and a tracking number.

 Do you ship to the rest of the world?

Not at this time.

 I made a mistake in my shipping address – is it too late to change it?

Please reach out to hello@picchubold.com and let us know your order number and the correct shipping address. We’ll get back to you quickly and will edit the address if possible.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit cards: PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express + Discover. 

What countries are you working in?

We + our fair trade partners are currently working in Peru, Kenya, India + Cambodia.

What is Fair Trade?

Fair trade is more than just trading. It’s a business model that puts people first. 

"Fair Trade is a trading partnership, based on dialogue, transparency and respect, that seeks greater equity in international trade. It contributes to sustainable development by offering better trading conditions to marginalized producers and workers." (World Fair Trade Organization) 

Why Fair Trade?

Nothing is more fair trade than directly working with artisans. Buying from artisan producers in developing countries at a fair price is a more efficient way of promoting sustainable development than traditional charity and aid. It provides the artisans and producers the direct income to make the needed investments in their lives and work – empowering them to be the ultimate decision maker of their needs.

Are you a certified B-Corp?

We’re working on it! Certification requirements stipulate you must be in business for one year to become eligible. Months are ticking, so check back in for updates. 

Are you Fair Trade certified?

We’re working on it too! Hopefully we'll have an exciting update soon! Until then, we proudly follow the guiding principles. Check back in for updates.
