Breakfast 'jugos' - fruit smoothies - are a way of life throughout most of Latin America. Almost always made with fresh fruit, they're delicious + healthy!
Typically fresh fruit is used, but in a pinch use what you have available. (You have canned pineapple and not fresh pineapple? - use it! No fresh ginger, but you have ginger powder? It ok. Don't like spicy or not as much - totally fine, adjust as needed! Only have concentrated OJ - that works too. I wouldn't miss out on the fresh lime juice, but you could use lemon instead. Better to have a smoothie than not. Plus, jugos are totally forgiving - that's what I love about them!)
